The Blundell’s Activities Programme allows pupils to expand their extra curricular interests; indoor and outdoor, practical and creative, adventurous and reflective, mentally and physically challenging – there are a variety of activities to choose from. We hope that pupils will try new activities and find hidden skills. Activities are run by staff and/or specialist instructors who have expertise, experience and enthusiasm for their activities.
All activities run for a term. Some activities run on a circus so pupils sample a range of activities every 3 or 4 weeks. It must be pointed out that some activities incur a cost and pupils are expected to check with their parents/guardian first, as pupils are expected to commit to their activity for a whole term.
Year 11, 12 and 13 pupils have two activity sessions a week but may opt to have one as private study time (supervised for year 11). All other years have two activity sessions a week although year 9 and 10 will do a term of compulsory CCF.
