Blundell's Summer School offers an outstanding opportunity for international students to improve their English, explore British culture and experience life in a traditional UK Boarding School.

page image Blundell’s Summer School, set in the South West countryside, offers a safe and supportive environment with a diverse international community (capped at 15% per nationality). Pupils are taught by Blundell’s own teachers, combining English language development with creative workshops in arts, drama, and music. A wide range of co-curricular activities – from sport and outdoor adventure to cultural experiences – encourages teamwork, communication, and resilience. With afternoons shared alongside English-speaking pupils, the programme provides natural opportunities for conversation, friendships, and fun. For those joining Blundell’s or other UK schools, it is the perfect way to build confidence and feel at home before term begins.

Minimum of two-week stay (one-week bookings are only accepted for weeks 1 & 4.) There is a 5% discount on booking over two weeks. A 10% discount is also available for siblings and any subsequent children. On top of this we have an early bird discount that is available untill the 31st of January 2026.

Our international student travel insurance policy is designed to cater for the insurance needs of persons studying in the UK on a trip arranged by Westonbirt Summer School and is included in the booking price. The product provides cover including emergency medical assistance and medical costs, protection in the event of cancellation or curtailment, cover for loss, theft of or damage to baggage and personal money. We provide airport transfer service from London Heathrow Airport and Bristol airport for flights arriving between 10am and 7pm. It is the responsibility of the family to ensure that this service is available and booked with the airline, and that all necessary paperwork is handed over to us.
