Blundell’s School pupils achieve the school’s highest ever GCSE results

Blundell’s School pupils have achieved the school’s highest ever GCSE results, for exams taken under standard conditions.

This extraordinary achievement reflects the unwavering dedication and effort our students have poured into their studies.

A remarkable 21% of all grades awarded were at the top level of 9, with 41% at 9-8, and an impressive 57% at 7, 8, or 9. Furthermore, twenty-two pupils averaged a grade 8 or higher, demonstrating exceptional academic performance across the entire year group, which has achieved outstanding value-added results across all abilities.

Dr. Jonathan Ratcliffe, Deputy Head Academic, praised the pupils' accomplishments, stating, “We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 pupils. Their hard work and determination have truly been rewarded. Our pupils continue to shine not only in their academic pursuits but also in their diverse extracurricular activities.”

He added, “Our dedicated staff are passionately committed to the success and well-being of our pupils, and we share in their joy over these outstanding results. This collective achievement underscores our unwavering commitment in providing a holistic education that nurtures both academic excellence and personal growth.”
