Blundell’s pupil wins a place at USA Ivy League University Dartmouth College
Kabir joined Blundell’s in Year 10 from India and his infectious enthusiasm for learning and impressive intellect was obvious. His EPQ investigating ideological and systemic flaws speaks volumes for his inquisitive intelligence. Kabir’s testimony makes incredible reading, from Maths Challenge Gold and Physics Olympiad Silver to 1st X1 Football, County Squash, School Council, School Plays, National Kayaking, there seems little that Kabir has not been involved in during his four years at Blundell’s. He is extremely passionate about music and finds pleasure in sharing that passion with others. To democratise the arts in the community, Kabir formed ‘Community Harmony’ which is a student-led county wide music teaching initiative for children with special needs. Every week, they travel across the county and Kabir helps by running workshops on basic instrumental training, musical history, and the tools used to write songs.
Thanks to all this Kabir is a highly respected School Monitor, will leave an indelible mark on Blundell’s and we are thrilled to announce that he has gained a place at the USA Ivy League research university, Dartmouth College.
