Over 50 families enjoyed a sensory story time at Tiverton Library led by our very own Head of Pre-Prep, Laura Clifford, on Friday 28th January. The turn out for the first event exceeded expectations and made the front page of the local newspaper.
Laura said "I felt the time was right for me to be able to offer my services to the library to get this up and running. It's great to see the local community together again."'
The first session, which was based around the book 'Lost and Found' by Oliver Jeffers, featured eight sensory stations around the library incorporating the books arctic theme, which the children really enjoyed!
Rachel Gee, from the library said: "We're really happy to be working in partnership with Blundell's Pre-Prep to bring popular sensory stories back again."
You can join Laura once a month for an interactive story with lots of hands-on activities and fun! The next dates for sensory story time are from 10am on:
Sessions cost £2 and all money is donated to Tiverton Library.
