Art

The Art department offers a huge range of Activities from the Junior Photography Club to the Trinity College Arts Award.

Within the Bronze Award students in Years 7-9 can choose a creative skill they want to improve on and then build a wide range of evidence to show their developing creative journey and participation in the Arts. Groups respond to Community projects such as working to make local children’s play areas more welcoming or joining with local schools in the Tiverton Christmas Lantern Parade.

Senior students with an eye for the Arts or ambition to follow a career in the Creative Arts sector, are invited to take Gold Award and add valuable UCAS points to their application portfolio along the way in Year 12. The Department prides itself on having a rolling programme of enrichment for all ages working with professional Artists on Field Days, adding to the Curriculum learning in the classroom or visiting current exhibitions.
