Athletics

Athletics sees close to 100 pupils training and competing at meetings in Exeter, Taunton, Yeovil and Millfield throughout the summer. A combination of track and specialist field event coaching helps to develop fitness and technique, at whatever level pupils wish. Whilst the focus is fun for some, each year Blundellians represent Devon at the South West and English Schools competitions, with Will Saltmarsh gaining a bronze medal at the most recent English School in 2019. Meg and Dan Hamilton-Strong are currently completing England Athletics DiSE programme, for elite young athletes.
