Blundell’s is thrilled to host an exciting Super 8 Cricket Competition, bringing together four dynamic teams for a fast-paced and thrilling evening of cricket. Featuring two Old Blundellian teams and two school teams, the competition promises a spirited mix of experience and youthful energy. With 8 players per side, each team will face off in 7-over matches, showcasing quick strategies and electrifying play. To keep the games balanced and engaging, each bowler is limited to one over, challenging teams to make the most of their roster's talent.
Adding to the excitement, batsmen will retire once they reach 16 runs, but they can return to the crease if their team loses all its other wickets, ensuring non-stop action and unpredictable twists. This unique format guarantees plenty of drama and camaraderie as the Old Blundellians and current students compete for bragging rights. Whether you're a cricket enthusiast or simply looking for an entertaining evening, the Super 8 promises unforgettable moments and a celebration of the sport we all love.
