A-Level Results 2022
We are tremendously proud of our pupils for the excellent set of results that they have achieved with over half being awarded A* or A for their A Levels. This is the generation of pupils arguably most affected by Covid. Not only were their studies disrupted, but they also were the ones not to write GCSE exams. This year was their first experience of sitting public exams and they passed the test with flying colours. Throughout the exam period these pupils showed a quiet determination and poise, and these results vindicate their confidence and hard work.
91% of our pupils secured places at their university of choice, the majority of which are Russell Group universities based in the UK. In addition to this, we are seeing a growing number of pupils looking further afield both in Europe and in America. One pupil has been awarded a scholarship to an Ivy League University and three others have received generous scholarships including one full scholarship for Athletics.
GCSE Results 2022
We are delighted with the GCSE results achieved by our pupils in the first set of formal public exams since 2019. It has been a challenging period for these pupils, and they have shown considerable resolve and determination to overcome the disruptions and uncertainties of the past two years.
22% of grades were a 9 and a fantastic 58% of all grades were at 7, 8 or 9.
27 pupils (a quarter of the year group) averaged a grade 8 or higher, with 2 achieving an outstanding clean sweep of 9’s.
