Blundell’s School pupils achieve outstanding A level results 2024

This season has been a remarkable journey for both the Blundell’s Bulls and Bulldogs basketball teams.

The Bulls dominated the league, securing seven consecutive victories with impressive margins against strong opponents. A closely contested home game against Millfield showcased the team’s skill and spirit, offering valuable lessons despite a narrow loss. Standout performances came from seniors Eric and YQ, who will be missed next year, while rising stars like Harper and Crespo demonstrated tremendous growth and leadership.

Meanwhile, the inaugural season of the Bulldogs Girls Basketball Team has been equally inspiring. From humble beginnings with just a few eager players, the team has grown into a spirited group of nine. Competitive fixtures against Millfield, Castle School, and Uffculme allowed the girls to gain valuable experience and showcase their determination and sportsmanship. Standout contributions from players like Anastasiia’s relentless defence, Mira’s leadership as point guard, and Mandy’s pivotal role as a team leader have laid a strong foundation for the future.

Both teams have shown incredible dedication, teamwork, and growth, and the camaraderie built both on and off the court has been a joy to witness. We eagerly look forward to seeing them continue to thrive in the seasons ahead!
