Blundell's commemorated the 80th Anniversary of D-Day and remembered all those who fought tirelessly. There was a full schedule of events in Blundell's Garden to reflect and learn about life in the war. Local primary schools joined us in looking back through history and seeing the display of photos, uniform and what rations would have looked like in the war. There was also an opportunity for our pupils to visit the Garden Cabin Café at break and lunchtime to see the display too. In the afternoon we held a D-Day event for those who attended to learn about Blundell's in the war.
