Choral Workshops with Alexander L’Estrange
Earlier this term our rehearsals for the Blundell’s on the Sea Spring Concert reached a peak with a visit from the internationally renowned composer Alexeander L’Estrange. We will be performing his choral work, Ahoy!, as part of the concert and it was wonderful to get insights and tips from the composer himself. He worked with amazing energy all afternoon with our Senior Choir, Chamber Choir and with our junior and primary school singers. We were delighted to welcome our special guests St John's Catholic Primary, Heathcoat Primary, Castle Primary, Tidcombe Primary, Wilcombe Primary, St Peter’s Prep school and Blundell’s Prep School for a high energy sing and dance in Big School.
The pupils sounded amazing and we can’t wait to share with you their hard work alongside our fantastic orchestra on February 8th.
