Annual U9 GIRLS’ Hockey Festival

Saturday 18th November 2023
10.00am - Midday

A warm welcome to the Blundell’s Preparatory School Annual U9 Hockey Festival.

We are really looking forward to welcoming all players and coaches.

Please Park in Prep School car park. Toilets are available in the block on the Prep School playground and by the Senior School Sports Hall.

A boxed snack will be provided for children & light refreshments will be available for parents and staff.

There will be a briefing at 9:45am.

We hope you enjoy the festival.

TOURNAMENT RULES & SCORING

Matches are 6 minutes each way with a quick change of ends at half time.

• 6 a-side teams and no GKs.
• No short corners so please take a free hit outside the D for an offence in the D.
• Please umpire the defensive end of your own match and toss before the game.
• In the event of a colour clash please could the 1st named team wear bibs.
• Rolling substitutes can be made at any time from the halfway line.
• This is a friendly U9 festival so please do help coach the children throughout the morning.

PARKING

Please park on the Prep School site where you will find toilet facilities. The astro is located on the opposite side of the road. The nearest toilets to the pitch are in the Sports Hall.
